Over 8 days end of January, FIPADOC, heir of FIPA founded 37 years ago, brings the general audience and professionals together for screenings of a selection of outstanding documentary films in Biarritz, France. Ever more dynamic and international, FIPADOC offers a most valuable experience: ◤CENTRAL STAGE FOR DOCUMENTARY LOVERS: 153 films & 32.304 spectators FIPADOC proposes a taste of creative documentaries on big screen in presence of filmmakers: -5 major awards: INTERNATIONAL, NATIONAL, MUSICAL, IMPACT and Audience award. -Competitive selections: SHORT FILMS, EUROPEAN STORIES, SMART (digital experiences), NEW TALENT -Non-competitive selections: Focus territory, Taste of the Doc! In the Scrum, Series, Visions of Ukraine, Olympic Games (2024) ◤MUST-GO LEARNING SPACE FOR EUROPEAN YOUTH: over 5.000 students CAMPUS is at work both during the festival and entire school year: screenings, speed-dating with professionals, an exchange programme, roundtables & workshops, NEW TALENT selection and DOC AROUND EUROPE GENERATION pitches and jury, DOCS4TEENS selections…. are all activities for youth and professionals working in film literacy. ◤CHANCE TO FOSTER POSITIVE ACTION IMPACT aims to bolster films that benefit not only filmmaking, but society itself.
