Fidia Ambiente and EdilEurope (part of ADRE Group) (Italy) as well as local firm Xhemi sh.p.k., via their local subsidiary Korca SHPK, were developing the 5.0MW Verbe-Selce 1 & 2 small hydropower plants, in Albania. Annual output was estimated at 23 GWh. The plants were licensed as renewable energy in February 2013 by the regulator. The production license was awarded in 2012, for 30 years. Commissioning was reported for June 2012 (Verba 1) and October 2012 (Verba 2), commissioning was initially expected in 2013. ERE issued Standard Basic PPA with Public Wholesale Supplier (KESH) for small HPPs The project received financing from the EBRD in October 2012, a EUR 5.2 million US$ 7.73 million debt portion. Total project cost was unavailable, but reported here as US$7.73 million.
