Description

Description

The aim of the FC measure is for textile companies to use the improved access to credit, advice and grants provided by the project as an investment incentive to make necessary investments in occupational safety, work/social standards and environmental protection. This will lead to increased compliance with national environmental laws, labor laws and international standards. Both employees and the environment benefit from this. The FC project consists of an investment cost subsidy of EUR 2.7 million and an accompanying measure of EUR 1.3 million and is being granted in parallel with a credit line from the AFD of EUR 50 million, a EUR 6.3 million grant financed from the EU AIF (EUR 4.8 million investment cost subsidy and EUR 1.5 million BM) and a EUR 3 million TC measure by the GIZ. The credit line provided by the overall project is made available to textile companies via selected partner banks. In addition, the entrepreneurs receive further financial incentives through a performance-related grant fund as well as advice on planning and implementing investments.
