Description | The Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) line is a 10.3-kilometer long light rail transit line in Toronto with 16 at-grade stations and two terminal stations, connecting Finch West in the east to Humber College in the west. It operates on a dedicated route separate from road traffic and connects to the existing subway network via a pedestrian portal to the Finch West station on Line 1 of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). The project includes 18 Alstom Citadis vehicles assembled in Ontario, designed for Canadian winter conditions, and Alstom will provide 30 years of maintenance for the vehicles and infrastructure. |
