The goal of the project was to create an extensive environment and energy technology portal in Northwest Russia, which would serve the industry through cooperation, communication, training and education. Th e intention was that once the portal became well-established, it could also function as a trade location for the environment and energy industries. Th e portal was to be implemented in Finnish, Russian and English. To support the portal, a digital magazine was to be distributed via the internet free of charge. Th e intention was to create a business logic for the portal and the associated trade location, which would enable the commercial use of the portal after the conclusion of the project.
