Description | The goal of the project was to create a functional Finnish and Russian research environment around the RFMedia laboratory shared by the Central Ostrobothnia University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oulu, in order to make the high level of Russian expertise available to Finnish companies in their R&D activities. Creating the research environment included initiating research cooperation, importing special equipment to the research environment, planning the R&D project operations in accordance with the needs of companies, creating cooperation models and starting the research projects. The project was believed to strengthen the Oulu Southern Institute and the organisations and companies operating there. In addition, it was thought to create a cooperation network, a socalled technology community, in the mobile technology sector. |
