First Indonesia Logistics Reform Development Policy Loan (DPL)

The aim of the Development Policy Loan is to support a reform of logistics processes with a focus on imports via Indonesia's central ports. The aim is to reduce costs and improve the reliability of logistics chains. In addition to KfW, the World Bank program is also supported with loans by ADB and AFD. Further technical support is provided by EU-TCF and the Australian - Indonesia Partnership for Economic Growth (AIPEG). The program includes three pillars: (i) improving port performance, (ii) improving logistics services and (iii) strengthening trade processes. KfW intends to support the program with an FC loan of up to EUR 200 million. The loan is classified as official development assistance (ODA). The DLP is an integral part of the Indonesian Country Partnership Framework (CPF), which includes improving connectivity, the business climate and the markets.
