Description | Honeywell has been selected by Fitzroy River Water, part of the Rockhampton Regional Council in Central Queensland, to support the digital transformation and automation of key water treatment facilities. The upgrade aims to increase infrastructure capacity from 50,000 to 75,000 equivalent persons, enhancing operational reliability, improving cybersecurity, and extending asset life at the Glenmore Water Treatment Plant and North Rockhampton Sewage Treatment Plant. Honeywell will deploy its Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) SCADA R530 for secure remote monitoring and control, enabling operators to manage facilities through a single interface. |
