The work will take place on six existing lift stations that were constructed in 1975 and are in poor condition. Two lift stations (Lift stations #1 and #3) will be fully upgraded and replaced as the mechanical piping has rusted beyond repair and the pumps have exceeded their expected life. Four other lift stations (#2, #4, #6, and #8) will be upgraded with new backup generators. Additionally, 200m of forcemain extension will be constructed from Lift Station 1 to connect to the existing forecemain at Lift Station 2. |
