Fixed Tele-communications Network Development Project in Kuwait

The project involves Beyon developing Kuwait’s nationwide fixed fiber telecommunications network under a 50-year public-private partnership with the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP). With a total investment exceeding US$2.8 billion, Beyon will design, finance, build, operate, and maintain a high-speed fiber broadband infrastructure designed to deliver up to 10 Gbps symmetrical connectivity to approximately 90% of available plots across Kuwait. A new project company will be established in which KAPP will hold 60% and Beyon 40%, with plans to eventually list part of the government’s stake for Kuwaiti citizens. The initiative is intended to serve as a core digital backbone supporting households, businesses, and government services, while advancing the country’s long-term digital transformation objectives under Kuwait Vision 2035.
