Description | This project output consists of the replacement of garage doors and the installation of a central vacuum system in the North Bay transit fleet garage and bus barn. The project scope will deliver 5 insulated garage doors to replace non-insulated doors, and the installation of a central vacuum system. The installation of insulated doors will help maintain heating requirements in the facility and reduce operations costs. The installation of a central vacuum system will enable more thorough and effective cleaning of vehicles, resulting in a cleaner fleet and a more comfortable experience for transit users. The project will result in improved quality of the public transit system in North Bay, Ontario. |
