Flexible Transparent Leading Films as ELECTRODER

Transparent, conductive and flexible electrodes are one of the most important components in the development and design of new consumer electronics for everyday use. Currently, such electrodes are based on expensive metals such as indium, which is one of the rarer metals in the Earth’s crust. Production is also done at high cost and with advanced technology. In our project, we propose technologies to develop flexible, transparent and conductive electrodes based on integrated metallic carbon nanotubes, functionalised graphene and abundant metals. Our goal is for the electrodes to be possible to manufacture with scalable processes, such as coating with spray methods, or with so-called roll-to-roll printing. The results of our project will have a very positive impact on several companies in the North region, as well as give the participating research groups a very good position to seek further funding in the future, for example from the Horizon 2020 programme.
