Floating Data Centre Development

Mousterian Corporation and Samsung Heavy Industries have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop and deliver floating data centre projects at scale. The project combines Mousterian's development platform with Samsung Heavy Industries' shipbuilding and offshore engineering capacity to accelerate deployment of floating assets targeting hyperscale and artificial intelligence computing demand. Mousterian will lead site origination, tenant sourcing, and project execution, while Samsung Heavy Industries will provide engineering, fabrication, and construction of the floating units. The initiative aims to compress delivery timelines for large-scale infrastructure by locating assets adjacent to existing power generation and overcoming land-based constraints.
