Flood mitigation, control and improvements in the Junction Creek Watershed

This project includes the new construction and rehabilitation of 4 structural and natural assets in the Junction Creek Watershed that provide safety, water, and storm water essential services to improve the capacity of storm water systems and help the downtown and Flour Mill areas adapt to climate change impacts. Over 18,000 people will benefit from the reconstruction and dredging of Junction Creek which will protect the community from flooding, add resiliency to the community to recover from flooding and will also improve the water quality and natural environment.
