Description | The project consists of expanding the existing Northern Carleton Civic Center with a new additional multipurpose facility. The new complex will include gymnastics facilities, open gymnasium, an indoor walking track and multipurpose rooms. This complex will potentially serve as the town hub year-round. The facility will be designed with a focus on accessibility for people with disabilities and seniors so that they can take advantage of all the activities and services that will be offered. Both the physical layout of the facility and the activities/programs that will be offered will have an accessibility component. The project will benefit the community of Florenceville-Bristol by providing improved access to and increased quality of community culture and recreational infrastructure. |
