Description | Florida Energy Pathway is a planned 24-inch intrastate natural gas pipeline in south Florida, developed, constructed, and operated by Peninsula Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities. The pipeline will expand natural gas transportation capacity to address regional supply constraints, enhance system reliability, and extend natural gas infrastructure to serve homes and businesses. It will originate in Palm Beach County and terminate in Miami-Dade County, backed by firm commitments totaling nearly 250,000 dekatherms per day from multiple investment grade shippers. The project is anticipated to be in service in 2030, subject to final commissioning. |
