Fly Together Initiative at Creighton University

A $300 million donor-funded plan called 'Fly Together' aims to reshape a 12-block recreational and athletic corridor on the east side of Creighton University in downtown Omaha. The project includes 11 new or upgraded facilities and outdoor spaces covering about 700,000 square feet of the Bluejays' east campus. Key elements include a new Student Fitness Center, upgrades to the Rasmussen Fitness & Sports Center, the creation of the Jaywalk pedestrian passageway linking Creighton to the Builder's District, a new Sports Performance Center, improvements to athletics buildings, and new baseball and softball team facilities. Construction has already started on some elements such as the softball competition field, baseball practice field, and Sports Performance Center.
