Description | The FM Diversion project involves constructing a 30-mile stormwater diversion channel with 19 crossings, including bridges and rail track work, to provide permanent flood protection for the Fargo-Moorhead area. Recent progress includes opening two more crossings to traffic, completing bridge work with 500 girders and 28,000 cubic yards of concrete, rerouting westbound rail traffic at the KO crossing, and completing the last concrete placements for the channel crossings. ASN Constructors also assembled and installed the horizontal truss segment of the Maple River Aqueduct's vertical lift gate support structure to regulate river flows during extreme flood risk. |
