Folk: Music the Unites Europe

ended

The idea of the project is that of a future destined to overcome identity boundaries, a future in which cultures will represent an enrichment based on differences and pluralism of identity. The mutare project (FOLK: MUSIC THE UNITES EUROPE) aims to promote the values of European citizenship among the citizens of Serravalle del Chienti (IT) and L'Associação Musicálareira (a cultural association) delegated by the Municipality of Torres Vedras (PT) to participate in the project and the Municipality of Becej (SRB), highlighting the benefits that EU membership brings to our territory in terms of opportunities and rights, as well as the importance of civic duties such as active participation, the protection of the city's cultural heritage and the promotion of European values. The project aims to intertwine experiences and creative processes between young Italian and foreign artists to generate an amalgam of formats in the making, favoring an exchange of knowledge, where the ideas of cultures and territories blend together, with the aim of creating a virtuous circle that can give life to new scenarios of encounter and cooperation. The project develops in the realization of a folklore festival and a social campaign where through seminars and training workshops will be treated different topics such as full respect for the values of the EU mentioned in Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union and in Article 21 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU.
