In April 1995, Instituto Nacional de Vias (INVIAS - Colombia's national road and highway agency) awarded a 20-year concession for the Fontibon – Facatativa – Los Alpes toll-road to the consortium Concesiones CCFC SA. The Fontibon – Facatativa – Los Alpes toll-raod is a 38.3 km long highway that goes from the limits of Fontibon in the bridge over the Bogota river, to Los Alpes going through Facatativa and other municipalities. The consortium is formed by Proyectos de Infraestructura SA – PISA, Colcorp and Concreto. The project reached financial closure in September 2001 with the signing of the modifications to the concession contract. It included the following segments: Tranche I (8,4 Km), Tranche II (6,5 Km), Tranche III (11 Km), and Tranche IV (12,4 Km). In March 2004 the project because opertional. In December 2014, CCFC signed a new contract with the regulatory agency ANI agreeing to invest an additional US$ 93 million (Pesos 186 billion) in construction works in the highway.
