Description
Description | "The starting idea of ForesTEEN is that adolescents, as the upcoming generation of human beings, are the most suited to bring new ideas, formats, and proposals. The chance to connect them with policy makers and cultural curators will start a “transgenerational alliance” that can renew cultural forms and languages. ForesTEEN, refers to adolescents (15-25 years) and the cultural ecosystem of which they are part, and aims to innovate the cultural offer for the next generations through a participatory observation pathway that experiments with different listening settings of adolescents to understand how the exchange with them and why ""trans-generational dialogue"" can be a driver of innovation. Young people must feel that the cultural offer concerns them to find involvement. ForesTEEN, by creating a common language between digital natives and digital immigrants, generate not only a formal transformation but also triggers a process aimed at creating space for new job opportunities in the cultural sector: reflecting the skills of the youngest is the key to its effectiveness. The aim of the project is to strengthen participation as an artistic and political principle. To this end, the process passes through the sharing of tools capable of developing critical thinking and ends with the teens' delivery to policy makers of actual guidelines for the creation of inclusive and sustainable cultural offerings capable of developing green thinking. ForesTEEN is a space of dialogue with those citizens known as Greta's generation. This is the reason why the whole ForesTEEN process is part of a scenario that can practically contribute to the European Green Deal raising awareness and stimulating empathy, and therefore change-making behaviors, not only in teenagers but mainly in cultural professionals. ForesTEEN wants to produce formalized results useful to disseminate a scalable and sharable approach and to deliver an evolving, accessible, sustainable and resilient network." |
