Description | The Tribe proposes to use the NTIA grant funds to plan, design, and deploy accessible broadband infrastructure that operates with sufficient latency to be useful to all residents of the reservation and those near the reservation for whom the Tribe provides services. The Tribe proposes to use Numu Communications LLC, and its partner/sub-contractor, Skylark Wireless, to construct and deploy the broadband infrastructure. The broadband technology to be used will result in very affordable broadband services, at about $60 per month with speeds of 100 Mbps download/20 Mbps upload and will allow the Tribe to be able to fully use internet for its government operations, which include health, telehealth and education, and public safety. |
