Description
Description | The project output consists of upgrades to the current Fort Resolution landfill site in NWT. The project scope includes road access improvements to reduce standing water on the access road, updates to facility signage and installation of a 150m fence to capture solid waste from leaving the landfill site. These upgrades will allow for better access and flow to the solid waste facility, allowing for better and more efficient solid waste management practices. The fencing prevents the unintended transfer of solid waste past the site boundaries and prevents wildlife exposure to waste. The project will result in improved capacity to reduce soil pollutants at the Fort Resolution landfill site in NWT. |
