Fort St. John - North Peace Arena 2021 Upgrades

The scope of the project includes the final detailed design and construction of a new roof for the low sloped roof, replacement of the existing air handling units, replacement of the existing rooftop exhaust fans, and replacement of the existing interior fluorescent lights with energy efficient LED lighting. This project is a standalone phase of improvements to the existing facility. The improvements are based on a Facility Audit completed in 2015 that provided costs and timelines for necessary building renovations and improvements. Necessary upgrades to the building will allow it to continue to be used for recreational events and tournaments, as well as other public activities once gatherings are permitted to resume. The project works include: -replacement of the roof, with insulation and drains, -replacement of air handling units; -replacement of rooftop exhaust fans; -replacement of the existing interior lighting fixtures to energy efficient lighting fixtures; - electrical and mechanical works; and, - all related works.
