Description | The general objective of the project is to prevent and combat gender-based violence, with a specific focus on women victims of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and multiple discrimination, and to support and protect victims, by updating and strengthening risks assessment methodology, procedures and risk management strategies. More specifically, the project aims at: · Updating risks assessment tools of IPV, taking into account a gender and intersectional perspective, as well as children's rights and critical issues emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic; · Setting guidelines for the integrated use of updated risk assessment tools and methodologies; · Strengthening professionals' capacity to assess risks of IPV and to respond accordingly; · Promoting multi-agency cooperation based on risks assessment through innovative protocols; · Disseminating project results and raise awareness on the importance of risks assessment and multi-agency cooperation; · Raising awareness and empowering women victims of IPV through the dissemination of inclusive risks self-assessment tools. In order to achieve the project objectives, the following main activities will be implemented: · Project Management and coordination, including the establishment of a Scientific Committee; · Updating and testing risks assessment tools of IPV from a gender and intersectional perspective. Based on data analysis and literature review, existing risks assessment tools (SARA, ISA) will be updated, tested and made inclusive and accessible for different targets. Guidelines for the integrated use of updated risk assessment tools and methodologies will be developed. · Capacity building of relevant professionals and pilot projects of multi-agency cooperation implementation, including the development of recommendations for their replicability; · Awareness raising and dissemination, aimed at women victims of IPV and multiple discrimination, professionals, key stakeholders, civil society, policy makers, general public |
