Fountainhead Preservation Project

planned

The Mississippi Museum of Art has selected Belinda Stewart Architects to lead the preservation and restoration of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Fountainhead residence in Jackson, Mississippi. The project involves preparing a Historic Structure Report, condition assessments, Historic Building Information Modeling, and a phased conservation strategy. Architectural services include structural repairs, landscape rehabilitation, accessibility upgrades, and code compliance to transform the residence into a publicly accessible house museum and event venue, with an anticipated opening in 2028.
