Description | Frontier Power USA (FPUSA) has signed a transaction to acquire a 480 MWh portfolio of battery energy storage system (BESS) development projects from Bimergen Energy Corporation. The portfolio includes three ERCOT-based projects, including two 'Texas 10' projects and a 100 MW / 400 MWh project with Notices-to-Proceed expected to begin mid-2026. The projects will use Eos' American-made Z3 long duration battery systems and are part of FPUSA's 2 GWh capacity reservation agreement with Eos Energy Enterprises. FPUSA will fund 100% of the equity required for construction and collaborate with Bimergen to bring the projects to commercial operations. |
