Since 2010, FRAME is designed and organised by the French National Audiovisual Institute (Institut National de l‘Audiovisuel - INA), in partnership with the International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA), EBU Academy (European Broadcasting Union); co-funded by the Creative Europe programme. In a comprehensive perspective, the FRAME training programme covers each step of the audiovisual archives management process - from its digitisation, data production and management, to its reuse, promotion and distribution – and all aspects of this work – legal, ecological, technological, business, production, educative, or creation. FRAME’s target groups are all European and international professionals working in the audiovisual heritage field. Each year, FRAME consists in 4 annual training actions: -FRAME Basics: an online 6-half-day training session, focused on fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for professionals managing audiovisual content, from its preservation to its reuse. -FRAME Advanced: an onsite 5-day training session, focused on the latest and innovative practices of the audiovisual heritage sector. -FRAME Expert: 2 half-day workshops, organised as part of the yearly FIAT/IFTA World Conference and of an EBU event -FRAME Mentoring, a mentoring programme for 2 junior professionals -An elearning platform made of multilingual (French, English, Spanish) e-learning modules and digital pedagogical resources FRAME’s objectives are to:  -Update and develop professionals’ skills and knowledge all along their careers -Enable institutions with lower capacity to catch up with the most advanced ones and foster the capacity of innovation of all professionals -Build and share a common language and shared professional practices -Present innovative and inspiring projects, examples and best practices & Give an overview of latest evolutions of the sector -Develop the community of European and international professionals and their ability to work transnationally
