Fraser-Fort George - Canoe Valley Recreation Centre Chiller Project

The project will replace the ammonia chiller in the Canoe Valley Recreation Centre in Valemount, British Columbia (BC). as well as many smaller communities in the area. The new system utilizes less ammonia than the existing system, resulting in a more energy-efficient and safer facility. The improvements will also ensure compliance with Technical Safety BC and Worksafe. The project works include: -preparation for and the removal of the existing chiller and pumps; -installation of the new chiller, valves, controls, piping, oil pot and pumps/pump modifications; -modify refrigeration as necessary for installation of the new system; -insulation; -heat recovery system integration; -install new safety monitoring system, signage and lighting; and -all related works.
