Fraser Lake - Wastewater Lagoon Expansion Project

The project will increase the quality of wastewater treatment by constructing a fourth lagoon for flow equalization in the Village of Fraser Lake wastewater treatment system. The cell is required during times of extreme precipitation or spring freshet when the existing facility is unable to handle the increased groundwater and surface water inflow. During these times the system has exceeded its permitted volume of discharge into Fraser Lake and the local government is subject to fines if the system is not improved. The works include: - mobilization and demobilization; - site preparation and grubbing; - Storm sewer works; - replace existing manhole; - construct a sanitary lift station and sanitary main from lift station to flow control manhole; - construction of a flow equalization lagoon, overflow piping and related works; - construction of perimeter fencing; - final grading of site; and, - related works.
