Fratco New Manufacturing Facility in Fort Payne

Fratco, a corrugated pipe manufacturer, is expanding by constructing a new 42,000-square-foot production facility in Fort Payne, Alabama. The facility will produce single- and double-wall corrugated pipe ranging from 3 to 18 inches in diameter, with plans to expand capacity to 48 inches in the future. The project is expected to create roughly 60 new jobs in manufacturing, logistics, and administration. Initial construction costs are $8.5 million, with total investment expected to reach $12 million once the project is complete and initial production begins. Additional equipment investments are planned in the next two to three years to substantially raise total investment.
