Freeze-Drying Facility for Fruits and Vegetables in Tripura

planned

Avio Smart Market Stack Ltd. has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Tripura to develop a freeze-drying facility for fruits and vegetables. The project aims to improve value addition and reduce post-harvest losses in the state by using freeze-drying technology to preserve fruits and vegetables while retaining their nutritional value and extending shelf life. The facility is expected to generate around 500 direct jobs and more than 800 indirect employment opportunities, supporting a wider ecosystem around processing, logistics, and farm procurement.
