Freyja Air Defense System Development

under development

Ukraine has begun receiving technical documentation from European partners necessary for the creation of the Freyja air defense system. The project involves integrating components such as radars, homing heads, and data links into an interceptor missile. The development is part of a European ballistic missile defense coalition involving 10 countries, aiming to develop European missile defense capabilities. The Ukrainian defense company Fire Point is developing the FP-7.x anti-ballistic missile for this system, which is intended to become operational within a year.
