Description | Phases 3, 4 and 5 include the lowering and / or insulating of approximately 257 water services (from the watermain to the curb stop at the property line) in the Town of Halton Hills - Acton (Phase 3 - 71 water services), Town of Oakville (Phase 4 - 79 water services) and City of Burlington (Phase 5 - 107 water services) as a result of freezing complaints reported during the 2014 / 15 winter months. This program will ensure continuity of service to residents and provide increased resilience against impacts of climate change. CWWF funding will enable the acceleration of the program and the system security benefits associated with the program. |
