Fruitvale-Pollution Control Centre Headworks Upgrades

The project will complete upgrades to the headworks to the wastewater treatment system in the Village of Fruitvale. The Pollution Control Centre requires the upgrades to ensure a high level of treatment of the wastewater occurs before being discharged into Beaver Creek. The project works will remove inorganic solids from the waste stream, improving the system and protecting downstream equipment. The project works include: - installation of a grit removal system including grit vortex, grit classifier, grit pumps; - installation of process piping and tie-in points; - electrical upgrades and connections; and, - all related works.
