Description | The Project consists of the development, construction, operation and maintenance of a 50MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant and a 5km 33kV transmission line connecting to a substation in the Mafraq Governorate, Jordan. The Project is being developed by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures B.V. (FRV), as part of the 2nd round of solar PV call for proposals initiated by the Government of Jordan. As such, the generated electricity will be sold to the Jordanian National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement. |
