FSRU Conversion for EemsEnergyTerminal Expansion

Exmar has launched conversion works for a new floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to support the expansion of the EemsEnergyTerminal in the Netherlands. The project involves converting a dual-fuel diesel electric membrane LNG carrier into an FSRU with a regasification plant capacity of 750 million standard cubic feet per day. The converted unit will operate alongside the existing Eemshaven LNG facility, increasing LNG storage capacity to around 190,000 cubic meters and total regasification capacity to 1,350 million standard cubic feet per day.
