Description | The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is upgrading New York's Fulton-Liberty subway line with advanced Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) technology to improve train frequency and passenger experience. The project includes installation of Siemens' Trainguard MT CBTC system, replacement of track circuits with axle counter technology, and installation of 5G communication networks to enhance connectivity for subway riders.
