Description | In July 2013, a local private company Beijing Sound Group won the bid to finance, build and operate a wastewater treatment plant in the Gaoshan Town, Fuqing City, Fujian Province. The total investment in the first phase of the plant which had a capacity of 10,000 tons per day was RMB 33.41 million (US$ 5.44 million). Beijing Sound had a 100% stake in the project. Construction commenced in January 2014 and was almost finished in December 2014. The concession term of the project was not reported. A SPV, Fuqing Sound Rongqing Water Affairs Company Limited was registered by Beijing Sound Group to implement the BOT project. |
