Furniture Mart Redevelopment Project

planned

The Gebbie Foundation is seeking developers to submit proposals for the redevelopment of the Furniture Mart building in Jamestown. The project involves adaptive reuse of the 172,000 square foot, nine-story building, potentially including mixed-use residential and commercial development such as a boutique hotel, mixed-income residential units, meeting and conference center, office space, and ground floor retail and amenities. The project is supported by various funding sources including $2 million in Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding, a $1.34 million Regional Economic Development Council award, and potential state and federal historic tax credits.
