"""There is more in you than you think.” This has been our motto since 2005, when Élményakadémia (EA) was founded by 12 young volunteers, who believed that non-formal education is essential for youth. During our 19 years of existence, we have set up an informal network of 12 countries to provide opportunities for European youth, with special focus on youth at risk. We empower, engage, connect youth & youth workers to enhance social integration, active citizenship, democratic dialogues, resilience, quality youth work to attain positive changes all over Europe. - We engage youth in non-formal learning activities & support the dialogue between different social groups, stakeholders & policymakers. - We connect youth with each other & the EU through cross border mobilities & inform them about the EU opportunities. - We empower youth to implement their own initiatives & to shape their own lives. In 2025 we will: - implement 37non-formal learning activities for 1273 youth (incl.907 y.w.f.o) - develop competencies & resilience of 985 youth workers through 57activities (177 program days), 2 MOOCs launched, 2 new online courses developed, 12 podcasts & 8 webinars organized, - raise awareness about the importance of youth/youth work by reaching 974.201 people, incl. stakeholders, policy makers through 31 dissemination events & 5 social media campaigns and other dissem activities - develop 2 recommendations for youth work organizations and local authorities We strengthen the awareness of opportunities for youth to become active, engaged, healthy citizens inspired by a European sense of belonging. We increase stakeholder involvement in youth issues, awaken the full potential of youth & have constant dialogue with governmental institutions, NGOs, local communities, policymakers. We aim to motivate young people and provide them with new opportunities, skills to support their personal professional development to make them realize they are strong enough to shape the world together."
