Future State Southside Development Project

A southside development project at Minnesota State University to transform the south 150 acres into an engagement zone designed to invite community participation, engage families and kids, and host events such as camps, statewide track meets, festivals, carnivals, and concert series. The first phase, expected to open by 2029, includes a mixed-use residence hall with retail and support facilities, a new stadium to replace Blakeslee, and a refreshed track with permanent seating for larger events.
