"The Erasmus programme has been a flagship EU programme that changes not only how younger people see Europe but also how to address fundamental societal transformations which is hardly possible at a national level. The FRIEND-NOW project aims to design a future common telecommunication and networks master programme hence strengthen the relationship between partners of the EUt+ Alliance. Within this alliance, we share a common vision ""empowering European technology thinking human first"" which means in practice that our future common master programme will leave substantial room for social and human science, soft skills, project and challenge-based learning as well as self-customized curricula which is critical for the education of future citizens who will face an unprecedented digital transition. We propose a common telecommunication and networks programme that, at the same time, provide a broad knowledge in order to embrace this fast-changing and broad discipline with a global view while also offering specialization tracks, backed by partners' expertise that specifically responds to the emerging needs of the labour market. We believe that this combination of broad knowledge and deep expertise is critical for next-generation students to maximize their employability and maintain their competitiveness throughout their careers as major digital transitions continue. Eventually, the present project also aims at finding leverages to implement an operational organization and governance for this common multi-campus master programme featuring seamless integrated mobility. To this end, we will rely on the implementation of the following trifold: 1) a harmonized, collaborative and balanced common governance 2) a clear definition of the curricula in terms of Final and Basic Learning Outcomes, allowing setting up self-customized training paths 3) providing students common services and tools they need to move around freely in a multilingual and multicultural setting."
