Description | The University of Georgia (UGA) submitted an application to Grants.gov for funding through the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) under the FY 2019 Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Discretionary program (B). The funding award is described as follows: The University of Georgia, which serves the residents of Athens, Georgia and the University of Georgia campus, will receive funding to purchase new electric buses to replace older buses that have exceeded their useful life.
