Description | The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has floated fresh tenders to complete the long-stalled Gajuwaka sewerage works at an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore. This phase focuses on completing the balance sewer network in Gajuwaka, enabling an additional 30 MLD of sewage to be treated at the Narava sewage treatment plant and recycled for industrial use. It aims to provide underground drainage facilities to about 2.4 lakh residents and increase the supply of tertiary-treated water to industries. The work will use materials already procured and available at the site. |
