Description
Description | Galaxy Stadium, home of Red Raider Football since 1947, has entered a new era starting with the 2026 football season through a 15-year naming rights partnership between Texas Tech Athletics and Galaxy, a global leader in data center infrastructure and digital assets. The stadium has undergone significant improvements including a $242 million investment in the South End Zone Building and Dustin R. Womble Football Center, which introduced an expanded concourse, new entry gates, premium seating areas, additional concessions, and new ground-level views of the field. Additional enhancements include three video displays, five ribbon boards, a state-of-the-art sound system, and the reimagined Double T scoreboard. Previous renovations include new bleachers and seatbacks in 2015, additional premium seating and a renovated north end zone club area in 2014, and a major north end zone video board and sound system project in 2013. The stadium is located in the heart of the Texas Tech campus in Lubbock, Texas. |
