Description | The project will support pandemic response by constructing an enclosed building with retractable walls at the Galiano Island Recycling Depot. The project will ensure the a safe worker/public interface is created when the public is dropping off their waste and recyclables by creating enough space to follow social distancing rules. The works will ensure that COVID protocols are followed when the public is dropping of waste and recyclables to the facility. The project works include: - design and engineering; - site preparation; - construction of foundation and concrete pad; - construction of an approx. 90m2 structure including roofing, cladding plumbing, mechanical and electrical; - installation of garage doors; - installation of solar panels; and, - all related works. |
