Description | The project involves the construction of the Gansu East-Shandong ±800kV UHV DC Project in China. The total length of the line is 926 kilometers and it has a rated voltage of ±800 kilovolts, with a transmission capacity of 8 million kilowatts. The line bundles wind power, PV, thermal power, and energy storage electricity from the Longdong Comprehensive Energy Base in Gansu to Shandong. The sending end will build Qingyang Converter Station in Qingyang City, Gansu Province to gather coal power and new energy in Longdong Energy Base, and the receiving end will build Dongping Converter Station in Tai'an City, Shandong Province. The total investment value is $2928.23 million (CNY20.2 billion) and sponsor is the State Grid Corporation of China.
