Garde Hotel and Anglesea Restaurant Interiors

completed

The Garde Hotel and Anglesea restaurant project involves the transformation of Fremantle's heritage precinct through interior design that blends port-inspired craftsmanship, local artistry, and sustainable design. The hotel occupies heritage buildings including former police quarters and a 1978 addition by architect R.J. 'Gus' Ferguson. The interior design of the Anglesea bar and restaurant was led by Foolscap, incorporating local artists and makers to maintain a connection with Fremantle's history and community. The project emphasizes sustainability and circular design, with repurposed materials and locally sourced furnishings.
