Description | The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) Board of Directors has approved construction contracts totaling $227 million for the Garnet Valley Water and Wastewater Systems, which serve the Apex Industrial Complex. The water system, which began construction in 2024, is a partnership between the City of North Las Vegas and SNWA, aimed at transforming water management at the Apex Industrial Complex. Once completed, the system will supply 20 million gallons of water per day and includes installation of the transmission system, wastewater system, sewer pipeline, and more. The project supports regional economic growth and sustainability by recycling wastewater back to Lake Mead. |
